The international Media law summer school is an annual professional program for lawyers who aspire to receive profound knowledge on a wide range of questions: freedom of speech and information, activity of mass media, protection of honour, advantage and business reputation, protection of privacy, TV and radio broadcasting regulation.

The school is based on lawyers, which specializes in media law and on students of older years of the law departments who have desire to work in the media sphere.

Throughout three weeks pupils study questions of regulation of TV and radio broadcasting, protection of a private life and a freedom of speech, access to the information, practice of consideration of disputes on a defamation, regulation of distribution of the information in the Internet, regulations of pre-election campaign, protection of public moral, copyrights and other questions.

The special attention attended to the European standards in the field of media rights, in particular the European convention of human rights and practice of the European court of human rights.
